What does the Electrical Purchase Order builder do?
It creates a purchase order you send to a supplier to order materials. List the items and quantities, set Tax/VAT, and download a branded PDF with a PO number, order date and required-by date.
How is a purchase order different from a quote or invoice?
A purchase order goes to your supplier and lists what you want to buy at their prices, so it leaves off your own markup. A quote or invoice goes to your customer and includes your markup. This tool drops the markup automatically in purchase-order mode.
Does the PO include a required-by date?
Yes. Set the order date and a “deliver within” number of days and the PDF shows the required-by date, with the PO number for the supplier to quote on their delivery note and invoice.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything stays in your browser and the PDF is generated on your own device — nothing is sent to a server. It also works offline once the page has loaded.
